Anna discovered that the CoZee was a safe and comfortable sleeping space for her infant. The Iora is a bedside bassinet that allows parents to feel more connected to their infant as they sleep. It can be adjusted up and down and slides through three positions to fit beside the bed of the parent or in the corner of the room so that the baby is always within arm's reach. The mesh siding is breathable, allowing air to flow through, and allows you to glance at your child. You can also put away any extra pajamas or items in the large basket underneath.
The Iora is a smaller bedside cot that can fold flat. It also comes with a travel case which allows it to be taken anywhere. It was easy to move around from room to room, and our mom testers thought it was the right size for a bedside crib. They also appreciated the large storage basket that is ideal for storing nappies or bedding.
This is a great choice for parents who want to co-sleep but do not want to share their beds or whose partner may have mobility issues, like back problems or arthritis. Our mums who tested it were thrilled to be able to easily access their child in the Iora and that it came with an option to have a reflux incline which helped to reduce gas.
Our mothers appreciate the fact that it meets NICE guidelines, which are to place the infant in the crib or Moses basket on its own (with no blankets, toys pillows, etc.). The mattress is also firm and comfortable for the baby and sheets are readily available. It isn't as light as the other cribs for bedside use, though it is a good choice if you are looking for something lighter and easier to move around, look at alternatives on our list.
